We support transparent, aligned deal structures that protect Operators, investors, and the long-term health of acquired businesses.

SearcherList

SearcherList

SearcherList was created to improve transparency and credibility in the acquisition marketplace.

For many Searchers, the first interaction with a broker or seller happens through a PDF-based buyer profile. However, these documents can quickly become outdated and only provide limited insight into the buyer behind the document.

SearcherList replaces those static files with a dynamic buyer profile designed specifically for acquisition entrepreneurs. Profiles allow Searchers to clearly communicate their acquisition criteria, operating background, and funding availability.

For brokers and sellers, SearcherList profiles are a much faster way to identify credible buyers, thus streamlining the evaluation process from both ends.

SearcherList is available as a free tool for the ETA community.

PACT: Partnership for Acquisition Transparency

PACT was developed to establish clearer expectations between Operators and investors in the acquisition process.

As ETA has grown, deal structures have become more difficult for Searchers to navigate. PACT establishes a shared set of principles and frameworks meant to encourage transparent partnerships and long-term alignment between Operators and investors.

When implemented, PACT sets clear expectations around ownership, governance, and economic participation before a deal is completed, ensuring that all parties are aligned. By removing that guesswork and helping to maintain clarity, PACT helps strengthen the long-term health of the ETA ecosystem.
