The Merger

What Changed?

Shareholder Ventures and Acquisition Lab legally merged last year, combining teams, systems, and resources to create an all-in-one ecosystem for acquisition entrepreneurs.

As part of this transition, the capital platform previously operated by Shareholder Ventures has merged with the Lab to form the Fund and EIR Programs.

This transition brings capital, community, and operational support under one roof to create the ultimate home for ETA Searchers and Operators.

The Ecosystem

The New Acquisition Lab Platform

Today, Acquisition Lab brings together the resources that ETA entrepreneurs need during their ownership journey.

The Lab is no longer just a membership program. Instead, it’s a home base that can help with everything from launching a search to operating and growing a business.

Our unified platform is built around four core pillars:

Membership

A vetted community and structured education platform built to help acquisition entrepreneurs source, evaluate, and close their first deal.

Events

Quarterly in-person meetups across major markets and our annual summit, bringing Operators, investors, and Advisors together to collaborate and share deal flow.

Capital

Through the Shareholder Ventures legacy, the Lab now offers direct access to one of the largest funds in the ETA space, along with a dedicated EIR Program.

Services

A dedicated Services Team provides finance, recruiting, and operational infrastructure for both Searchers and Operators after closing.

Together, these pillars create an end-to-end solution that touches every stage of the ownership journey.
